okay, seriously this shit has been out there for a while, but i figured i would compile it into one nice big post. first off, aesop rock's new album is called none shall pass. the entire package and album cover is going to be done by jeremy fish. i swear to you, i almost cried when i found out. its going to drop sometime during the first half of this year. normal stuff, blockhead, el-p, and aes' own cuts. the none shall pass snippet sounds really awesome on myspace. go and check it out.

the def jux roster is really unleashing hell this year.

el-p - march 20th: i'll sleep when youre dead. rumors of really great stuff on it - including cat power (whom i love).

cage is on tour with cupcake. so is lif.

other artists that i think are pretty good off jux include yak ballz and despot and new stuff should be coming out soon.

surprisingly, rjd2 is no long on definitive jux. hes going in a new direction, with his own vocals - or so i hear, and im pretty sure i hear correctly. im a little nervous cause his old stuff was pretty amazing. we'll see though.
