Q-borough stand up!!

this article was in the nytimes today.
im trying to find some inner connection with my borough. (and yes, a borough - not a town or township. we have 5 of them). ever since i went away for college, ive had a deeper appreciation for home, but its still not as intense as it should be, being that i'm a native member of queens. i was born there, but ive always been raised out in chinatown and the city. when i was little, i never wanted to leave my grandparents' apartment on mott street. so every time i go back home i try and take in the borough of queens as much as possible. simply put, we are great. queens, ny biatches.
